Apartment for 4 persons (possibility of 5) with communal pool in Castellina in Chianti.
This beautiful villa consists of four comfortable apartments and is situated on the hill in the heart of Chianti. The villa was built in the XIV century and has been decorated in a typical Tuscan rustic style, simple but comfortable. Thanks to its strategic location, the house is the perfect starting point for day trips in the central Tuscany.
Interior:
The apartment is located in the building next to the pool area and has a beautiful view of the surroundings. Through an arched doorway you enter a large room with an open kitchen, a sofa and a fireplace. Another arched doorway leads to the bedrooms’ area. There is a bathroom with shower, a small single bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and a larger room with three beds. A single bed can be added which leads to the possibility of hosting 5 people- see rates below-. Each apartment has its own entrance, tiled floors, wood-beamed ceilings and a terrace with table and chairs.
Outdoor:
This beautiful villa has a large communal swimming pool (12m x 6m) which is surrounded by a terrace with sunbeds and sun umbrellas, where you can relax and enjoy the view over the valley.
It is possible to the visit the wine cellars of the owner and taste their wines, all for free. The vineyard is located in Rocca delle Macie, 5 km away from the house. You get 10% discount for dinner at the restaurant and the shop where you buy the products of Rocca delle Macie (wine, olive oil, honey).
The price includes the use of the common area and community pool (from mid-May to late September), the bed linen, towels (both are changed weekly), the utilities (water, gas and electricity) and the wood for the fireplace.
Mandatory extras (to be paid on arrival):
There is a deposit of 100 € on arrival.
Mandatory final cleaning 30€.
Optional extras (to be paid on site):
An extra bed or cot (for children under 3 years) is available on request (cot, 15 € per day, extra bed 20 € per day).
